Product Description: When Ben Seaborn conceived Thunderbird in 1957, it was a radical departure from the norm. Today, the international fleet numbers more than 1200 boats. Though small, the model sails well and is simple to build. Thunderbird uses a regular 2 channel radio control system. Construction features balsa framing, plywood planking, and pine cabinatry. Included: all the wood parts either printed or machine cut, laser cut cleats, fittings, sailcloth, rigging, cast ballast, cradle, instructions and full sized plans.
