Welcome to NNG
CombineNNG has manufactured kits of large scale trains since 1982. These first trains were 1/2" = 1' models of Maine two footers which ran on "O" gauge track. Since then, we have produced over 80 different kits at 1:24, 1:22.5, 1:20, and 7/8" scales. Of those, 25 were powered vehicles, engines, rail cars, etc.. To go with this array of rolling stock, we offer metal truck kits and Kadee couplers.

The kits are largely made of wood and metal. Even the most complicated can be built by patient beginners. Any part that would require a power tool to fabricate has been pre cut. Only hand tools are required to build these trains. We use only top grade woods i.e.. native pine, birch ply and birch turnings.

For the last several years we have published plans for many of the kits in every issue of GARDEN RAILWAYS (we don't sell plans, those interested in plans should contact: Sidestreet Bannerworks, Box 460222, Denver, CO. 80246). Every other month something new is in the making. However, with a constantly expanding line of items we can not keep everything in production and available on call. If you are willing to wait a week or 10 days then very nearly everything is available. Call if you are concerned about availability.
