Thunderbird For 21 years, Freedom Song Boatworks has created model boat kits which have as their subject the elegant and simple small craft of America.

The kits emphasize simple construction with balsa framing, plywood planking, and pine trim. Most of the kits are suitable for beginners and experienced alike. In developing the instructional text and drawings, it was decided that most construction information would be shown on the plans. Therefore, if the simple plans are understood, so will the building process be better understood.
